This essay is called "The Big Three Religions". This really is
wrong. The thought was the big three as in Books, The Bible, The Quran, And the Torah. I
have broadened my thought over time and come to another conclusion. It could actually be
compared to the computer world, IBM vs. MAC. MAC being Jewish, IBM being everything else.
In some way or form, every religion other than Jewish sees fit to credit Jesus. To compare
it further we now have the Power MAC. This can run the Windows Operating System. How does
this compare. Well we have the Jewish faith on one side and everything else on the other,
as stated earlier. However, in the Jewish sector some people call themselves Messianic
Jews. This compares with the Power MAC quite readily. The Power MAC is that messianic
operating system. It believes enough in some of the other side to use some of it.
Messianic Jews are like that, wanting to believe in some of what is on the other side.
This gets the fundamental Jewish quite angry. Compare It Further It is split down the middle, separated on the right side by the Jewish Faith. Picture it this way because it simply fits. Christianity on one side, Jewish on the other. You can break down the Jewish side into two groups. On the other side, however, you could break it down to several, or in keeping the word, "Christianity", leave it as one. The Christian faith comes from the name Jesus Christ. It does not really need to be mentioned, however it should. If I were of the Jewish faith and found some of my brethren believing in part, Christianity, I would be somewhat perplexed. We have it right, the rest of the world is wrong. Let us try to keep it that way. This is, in a way, how the Jewish Faith sees it, that Christianity was born to put a face on God. That is it. If you really read the Ten Commandments, really read into it. Christians are going to die, rot in purgatory, because, they have brought another image before God. As a child I was baptized Catholic, poor me. In addition, as that child, quite bewildered about the Ten Commandments, as to point out, "OK Mom, what is that"?. In addition, you know what THAT is. Another thing I have noticed. Christians, namely the born again, preach to you. No matter if ordained or not. On the other hand, never ever, has a Jewish person talked to me about their faith. Regular Christians, Catholic, Lutheran, will not either, unless prodded, and believe me, I do prod. However, I give credence to the Jewish faith. The faith just makes sense to me. Enough said? No That IBM side of the fence. Let us look at it further. We are going to look at the previously mentioned born again. This group is a huddled mass. So many in fact that they discredit Christianity as a whole. As I mentioned, they preach to you, whether you want them too or not, in most cases, not. They are in public places, work places, street corners, preaching their gospel, known only to them. Some of these groups are dangerous as well, menacing to themselves and others. We know their drill, we have seen it. I like a topical discussion, give and take. I have had wonderful, thoughtful discussions with people. It is rather difficult to have this type of conversation with a born again. I met a born again that worried me. He would put pamphlets in my work area and so on. However, in conversing with the gentleman, you see a trait, Usually a recovering alcoholic. What worried me are his thoughts of paradise. He said that in heaven, everything lives in harmony, lions, zebras, and humans alike. On the surface not so bad, what worried me was his "I can't wait" attitude. I can be thankful that I am not an alcoholic. I cannot imagine putting my recovery in the hands of born again Christians. Nevertheless, outside of medical science, it is, I guess, the only way. Every recovery book I have come across burns some kind of faithful rhetoric into your sub-conscience. When you fall back on alcohol, who, or what do you blame? Exactly... The Need of Faith I cannot stress this enough. Humans have a need. They need to believe in something that gives them answers. They need to feel something other than the ground under their feet. They simply need to feel, to believe. Do I? I want to. My Mother passed on. I want to believe that she is somewhere. Living a better life than the one, she had. She was cremated, because she did not want to be a rotting corpse. There is something to that. The Pope should make it a godsend as they say. Confusing is it not? A man verging on the crust of atheists. That I should believe in that paradise, if not only for my mothers sake. I can I guess, in the name of God. The one and only, plural, alone in existence, a faceless entity. Do I forsake Jesus to the land of myths? ...Not exactly... Antiquities Like the evolutionists with their bones. Christianity has its artifacts, The Shroud of Turin, The Dead Sea Scrolls, hieroglyphics that hint to an existence. The Quran, the Islamic bible says that Jesus was a prophet. Nevertheless, alas, some credit. Prophet is good. The true First Edition Jewish faith does not even go that far. However, and I find this increasingly interesting. Moses is mentioned in all the PC/MAC religions. Topper's Tap
(Updated text structure, and additional offerings) I guess that could be read for a Christian Church. Still what happened to GOD, GOD, GOD I think I remember him speaking through a burning bush to Moses about the said Ten Commandments. What of that? Christianity=The brainwashing of Millions ¹. Enough of my agnostic fervor
